Bud Buddies - Updates

Hi buddies!!!
I’ve added some exciting new interactions and created 3D models to enhance the background of the project. I'm planning to post updates every Friday. Although these past few days have been hectic, I’m still making progress!

Check the buddies buttons. I'll be finishing it later.

It is difficult to play and see all the new content from the updates because text can't be skipped, and you can't scroll back either. To see anything new or try different choices, I have to completely exit the game, get back on it, and then start again from the very beginning. It is very tedious lol.

Have you considered learning to use Ren'Py and making the game using it's engine? It's free and open source. Skipping text and scrolling back are automatic features in that engine  (or, at least I think they are? But I'm not completely sure.) Sorry if it's rude to suggest. Most games I play are Ren'Py and you're the first person I've seen use Godot engine.

Found some typos too. You spelled ''Whatch it'', correct spelling is ''Watch''. And soon after there is ''You own me one'' when the correct word is ''owe'' not ''own''.

looking forward to the next update

I really appreciate the tips.

I'm currently using godot because it's an engine that I know how to program the basics and make things work because I use it in my college projects and I had the idea of understanding it better with this project. I can take a better look at ren'py and try to do something with it if it combines with what I already know about programming.

And my idea for now, since the game is far from having a first idea of the gameplay, was that from the different updates players would look for new ways to avoid repetition.

None of the paths yet have any real disadvantages or advantages, you still don't need to go through all of them.

Thank you very much for the tips and I will try to continue.
